Toxic Hathor is writting me a merman fic! You can find it on her ff.net account! And I told her I was going to draw some stuff for it, and i chose to draw Yami's grotto first.
I drew most of the stuff in Yami's undersea treasure room out of random. I was thinking, what would a merman collect from suken ships? ANYTHING. He even has a book labeled MAN and another labled MYTH in there as an added effect on him wanting to be a human and that the idea of merpeople being jsut myths. He has bottles, books, dolls, clothing, paintings, jewlery, statues, weapons, a whole bunch of crazy things in that grotto. The bird cage is suppose to represent that Yami, like a bird, wants to be from his cage, which is the ocean. I like how I added a water effect in the spot light from the light above in there as well and Yami came out lovely, looking at his sad reflection too. I hope you like this Hathor!
